Windows file recovery – How difficult is a task is it?

Windows file recovery differs from data recovery as needed on other operating systems such as Linux and Mac OS X in that each of the latter operating systems have barriers in place which make file recovery extremely difficult. In the case of Apple Mac operating systems, hard drives are constructed with the disk initialization and disk verification process inherent in the software. This makes Mac file recovery extraordinarily difficult. By contrast Linux file recovery is extraordinary simple as the Linux operating system itself is capable of scanning for and recovering files stored in what is known as the Linux Superblock system. Windows file recovery seems to fall somewhere in between in terms of difficulty. While no windows operating system will allow you to search for and recover files on your computer’s hard drive, you can download and purchase many quality third party file recovery tools that will scan your computer’s hard drive for damaged or deleted files and replace on those files the original file name for access coding. At the present time there are hundreds of programs designed for recovery of deleted files on computers using the windows operating system. However only a handful of these are built on to unique windows platforms that allow access to your computer’s hard drive by loading onto your computer’s RAM by means of your CD/DVD disk drive.
